Beau Balmain can be handy. Pace comes across from out wide with Trap For Fools and Homesman.
HOMESMAN (3) ran a cracker in this race last year and while he has been off since the Caulfield Cup placing back in October last year he should be ready to give a good account of himself first up. Looks like getting into a good spot on speed without a huge amount of pressure around.
FIFTY STARS (6) was only fair when resuming but think he can improve sharply second up at the mile. Similar story KENEDNA (15). Did enough first up and was a Group 1 winner at the trip back in the autumn. BEST OF DAYS (5) is another top flight winner at the mile who has to be consider. SIKANDARABAD (9) looks to have come back in good order.
