ROSEHILL PARLAY

RACE 6 (4) EXCEEDANCE: Outstanding! It's the only description one can apply to the first-up win by this impressive colt in the G3 San Domenico Stakes over 1100m at this course two weeks ago when he mastered the heavy track in exceptional style at just his third career start. The clock said it all as he ran his last 400m in a remarkable 22.05 seconds in heavy ground and ran way above the average putting the fastest last 200m of the day on the board with his electric acceleration to easily get the better of the classy Bivouac. Cannot see a 2kg increase being any concern as he must improve fitness wise and all the indicators say he can only go better over the extra trip on top of the ground - enough said.

RACE 7 (11) TROPE: This lightly raced 4YO with the big finish showed his class with his excellent first-up second in the G3 Show County (1200m) at Randwick when he charged home in the fastest last 200m of the day (last 400m in 21.28!!) to miss by a by a nose. With that run under his belt he must be a tough rival for the boom Perth mare Arcadian Queen over this extra trip on his home track as he holds the edge in race fitness and gets a vital 3kg weight advantage. Suspect there will be enough early speed to set this race up nicely for the swooper.

RACE 9 (14) GOD OF THUNDER: It's taken time but it seems it has all come together for this highly talented gelding judging by his form in two starts since resuming. He was a certainty beaten first-up over 1000m at Randwick then had no trouble dispensing with a BM78 field over this course and distance two weeks ago in heavy going. He's in the right form to cope with the step in class, especially dropping 2.5kg off his last win on a better surface.

NOTED RUNNERS

ROSEHILL Saturday: Castelvecchio (R5); Shadow Hero (R5); Yes Yes Yes (R6); Dawn Passage (R6); Kubrick (R6); Arcadia Queen (R7); Gem Song (R7); El Dorado Dreaming (R7); Redouble (R7); Zousain (R7); Champagne Cuddles (R8); Pretty In Pink (R8); Ready To Prophet (R8); Fasika (R8); It's So Obvious (R9)

YES YES YES (Rosehil August 6): Doubt he was out to win his heat but his second in the fastest 900m heat underlined his talent as his class was evident as he surged quickly to close the margin on the winner without being let go. He had another soft trial at Rosehill on August 20 when he was never asked to chase in a fast heat. He could be a real spring star.

DAWN PASSAGE (Canterbury September 2): Kept up to the mark with a strong trial win over 900m. Easily held his position outside the leader and worked well within himself to put good time on the clock. Definitely one of the better 3YOs.

FLEMINGTON Saturday: Evening Slippers (R2); Strasbourg (R5); Demerara (R8); I Am Excited (R8)

EVENING SLIPPERS (Randwick July 30): This $1.8 million yearling again showed her brilliant natural speed to win her 735m heat on the inside grass, running the fastest closing sectional of the 2YO heats (44.16; 34.20). Dictated from the front and could have gone a lot quicker. She has shown similar speed and class in two subsequent trials, winning her latest in the fastest heat time over 1045m at Randwick on August 27.

KEMBLA GRANGE Saturday: Autocratic (R2); Threeood (R3); Lost Light (R5); Nindamos (R6)

MUSWELLBROOK MONDAY: Thiswilldous (R7)
