2019 EPSOM HANDICAP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Easily the main highlight of the afternoon with a field of 19 set to line up in this year's Group 1 Epsom Handicap. Expect a truly run mile.
KOLDING (9) has won 5/6 since been gelded in February and arguably should have gone close first up when no luck behind Dreamforce. Was clearly headed last start in the Bill Ritchie before fighting back to score narrowly. This has always been the Grand Final and he appears very well placed at the weights. Middle draw keeps him out of trouble and with the Bossman on, he should prove hard to beat.
CASCADIAN (15) has been solid enough in two runs in Australia and should be at his top racing third up. Peak form from France leaves him very well placed, if he produces that level of form, he is sure to be in the finish.
DREAMFORCE (1) is up against it at the weights, but is in career best form and looms as a major threat. TE AKAU SHARK (4) is likely to get a long way back, but should be storming home late.
