2019 VILLIERS STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Easily the main highlight of the afternoon with this year's Group 2 Villiers Stakes. Expect a solid tempo in the near capacity line up.
BOBBING (14) got a mile back in the Festival Stakes and still managed to find trouble at the top of the straight. Closed off well late and just hoping he can settle closer to the speed this time around. Well placed at the weights and should prove hard to beat fourth up.
QUACKERJACK (5) fought hard only to go down narrowly in the Gong and sets up well off the back of that. Rolls forward from the wide draw and should be in this for a long way. EL DORADO DREAMING (3) comes out of the same race and while up in the weights, she still has to be respected, along with the Festival Stakes winner RANIER (6).
