Kris Lees gave the “green light” for Miss Fabulass to run at Eagle Farm on Saturday after overseeing her final gallop this morning.

And he has decided to run her in the Magic Millions The Buffering (1400m), with Glen Boss her rider.

A victory would clinch the blueblood a start in the $1m Magic Millions Cup (1400m) at the Gold Coast on January 11.

Lees flew to the Gold Coast yesterday afternoon to watch Miss Fabulass  gallop at the Gold Coast this morning, and was happy with what he saw.

"She worked well, and I'm happy to run her on Saturday," Lees said this afternoon after returning to Newcastle.

"I also accepted with her in the Magic Millions Nudgee Stakes (1200m) against her own sex, and she drew the same barrier (six) in both races.

"But the plan was always to run her in The Buffering provided she drew well enough."

Boss rode Miss Fabulass for the first time when she drew near the outside in a field of nine and finished seventh to Madam Rouge in the Group 3 Nivison (1200m) at Royal Randwick on October 26, beaten just under three lengths.

She then turned in a blistering performance to overwhelm her rivals in the Listed Tatts Classic (1200m) against her own sex at Doomben on November 23.

Miss Fabulass then missed the start by several lengths and was never able to get into the race when eighth to Deep Image, who made the running, in the Listed Lough Neagh Stakes (1300m) at Eagle Farm on December 14.

Lees has decided to run the mare in a tongue tie for the first time on Saturday.

. In Her Time, accompanied by foreman Cameren Swan, arrived safely back in Melbourne this afternoon after spending a fortnight in quarantine in Hong Kong.

She will spend another fortnight in quarantine at Mickleham, an outer Melbourne suburb, before returning to her Newcastle stable.

Asharani, who returned to the winning list at Randwick last Saturday, is likely to have one more run before a short break.

Lees is eyeing a Benchmark 78 Handicap (1500m) against her own sex there on January 11 with the mare, who scored over 1400m last week after a luckless first-up performance over 1200m at Canterbury on November 29.
