Trainers Leon and Troy Corstens have been fined $1000 for presenting the wrong horse to race at Caulfield.

Racing Victoria stewards ordered the scratching of Rapidora from the Frank O'Brien Handicap when an inspection of the mare on arrival at the course revealed it was Titan Blinders.

A gelding, Titan Blinders was also engaged in a later race at Thursday's meeting, the Ken Sturt Handicap and was not due on course until later in the day.

Steward in charge of Thursday's meeting Rob Montgomery said there was a mix-up at the stable with the wrong horse being brought to race.

After contacting co-trainer Troy Corstens and holding an inquiry over the phone, stewards fined the stable $1000 for bringing the wrong horse to race.
