2020 CARRINGTON STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Cradle Mountain can work over for a soft lead. SOUTHERN LAD (11) has improved with each run this prep and was rewarded for that progression with a Benchmark 94 win here last start over 1200m. Untried over 1400m which he rises to here but was strong through the line a fortnight ago like a horse who will have no issue with the extra furlong.
GAULOIS (6) resumed well at Eagle Farm last month. Has been kept ticking over with a Rosehill trial. REDOUBLE (5) also returns from Queensland where he produced a fast finishing second to Vega One in the Magic Millions Cup.
PASSAGE OF TIME (4) returns to 1400m. Won convincingly at this course and distance two back before being left flat footed behind Southern Lad over 1200m last start. CELLARMAN (3) off a freshen up next elect.
