Brisbane has some black type racing with some nice horses running but are short in the betting.
So looking a little wider, we are going to trust that Mongolian Wolf brings his recent Sydney form north and can get back to winning ways.
He hasn't won for a while and that is a concern but his two Randwick efforts in 2020 have been very solid efforts.
Crying out for the 2000m, he probably won't have to be a long way off them in running.
Any rain is a help and he's either better than them or in better form even though not in the winner's list.
Suspecting because of that, we will do better on the day.
Over to the Listed Tatts Member's Cup, there is some value on an each way basis in the form of Silvera.
He always gets back so you have to take that into account but usually is hitting the line hard.
Consider that in his lead up, a race which contained some of the good hopes here, that he was the firm elect.
It is a tricky start so have to acknowledge that but hoping he gets ridden for luck and the gaps open.
He is capable of finding his best and will have no issue if the track has plenty of give in it.
