2020 ALL-STAR MILE – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Streets Of Avalon looks the leader and should get it comfortably enough with Alligator Blood following him across.
ALLIGATOR BLOOD (11) is certainly the horse to beat. Positive racing pattern means that he can put the race on his terms and he should land outside the lead or just camped one back this time. No reason to think that he can't repeat the form he showed to win the Guineas last time and that is going to go a long way to winning this.
Low draw could mean that REGAL POWER (4) can settle closer this time. Back from 2000m but has the pace to keep up early and will certainly be strong late. Ratings continue to improve.
KOLDING (1) was a flop around here last time but we know he is better than that and he was a star over the mile in the spring, as was FIERCE IMPACT (3) who won the big mile here in the spring, then again at Flemington, and had form that tied him to Kolding. MELODY BELLE (9) also won over the mile at Flemington on Derby Day then ran a cracker in the Mackinnon. That form stacks up well.
