2020 COOLMORE CLASSIC – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Wide open affair with a host of leading chances in this year's Group 1 Coolmore Classic. Surprisingly there doesn't look that much speed, though do expect a solid tempo in the near capacity line up.
SYLVIA'S MOTHER (7) is unbeaten this time in (2/2) and brings different form having done a great to win at Flemington last start. Much better suited drawn out and is clearly trending the right way. Berry legs back aboard (won 3/4) and she shapes as one of the hardest to beat.
SWEET DEAL (2) did far too much work in the lead last start, only to go down in the last few strides. Is clearly racing in career best form and is sure to make her presence felt. POHUTUKAWA (5) is the 'weight horse' out of the Guy Walter Stakes and should be very strong late. SPANISH WHISPER (11) did enough first up to suggest she can get into the finish here.
