2020 CIVIC STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
A near capacity field is set to face the starter in this year's Listed Civic Stakes, though just the last start winner engaged. Speed looks solid enough with Home Of The Brave the expected leader.
SAMBRO (3) failed to reel in his stablemate last start, but still ran very well and like him kept fresh (21 days) back to 1350m. Hasn't won in over 700 days, but looks to be back better than ever and JMac sticks aboard. Gets every chance at the weights. HOME OF THE BRAVE (1) showed good improvement behind Great Again last start and only looks to have to repeat that level of performance to be right in the finish again.
TRUMBULL (8) simply should have won last start, continuing his good run of form this time in. If he jumps well, he shouldn't be far away. DEALMAKER (5) is some query back in trip, but still has to be respected.
