You could tell that the Spring carnivals are about to kick off with many a Group 1 performer heading out to the trials on Tuesday at Rosehill.
Chris Waller had several of the big names on his home course including the likes of Verry Elleegant, Funstar, Toffee Tongue but the star of the stable Nature Strip burnt the turf as he often does.
The Hawkes Team also provided some leading lights with Master Of Wine, Zebrowski, Masked Crusader and North Pacific to be well noted.
