2020 MEMSIE STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Expecting some fireworks early as Begood Toya Mother takes the lead but there should be plenty of pressure hot on his heels. Tricky race.
CASCADIAN (9) closed better than any in the PB Lawrence here off a slow tempo. Nice return and with that form looking ready to be flipped on its head it could be well worth siding with him to come out best. Stablemate SAVATIANO (13) came out on top in that Lawrence and no knock on her effort there. She's a good horse at 1400m and Caulfield clearly suits.
From behind her ARCADIA QUEEN (12) wasn't far away and must be fitter having been off a long break. She can relish a stronger tempo and may just be a sharp improver. BEHEMOTH (7) won the Spring Stakes at Morphettville fresh and should be able to measure right up to the local form. MYSTIC JOURNEY (11) was ordinary first up but is better than that.
