2020 MOIR STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Loads of early pressure engaged here but expecting Pippie to find the lead. FABERGINO (9) finished off last campaign with a win in the G3 Northam Stakes at Ascot after a quick recon mission to Melbourne where she won well and showed really good speed. Targeted at this race and have to think she takes beating.
BELLA VELLA (6) won the lead up. Adding the G2 McEwen to her Group 1 win at the back of last prep. She's three from four around here and demands respect. PIPPIE (7) won the Oakleigh Plate fresh last time around. She can fly around here and will be in this for a long way.
AWAY GAME (12) is interesting. Terrific two-year-old season and has the ratings to mix it with these. Plenty of pressure around her but no shock at all to see her stand up to it and run well. TREKKING (1) is resuming following a winning trial. Will be better for it but respect his class.
