2020 RED ANCHOR STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Genuine tempo as Bella Nipotina finds the front with Mildred and Free To Move pressing. VALAQUENTA (1) was really good first up from a break and then might have been looking for a little bit further last time when beaten for late speed down the straight with the tailwind sending them home in really slick fractions.
PORTLAND SKY (5) comes through the same race and had the better of Valaquenta there. Query is does he have as much left in the tank at this point of his prep but the formline demands respect. BELLA NIPOTINA (7) will run well. She was solid on speed last time and this is no tougher. FREE TO MOVE (2) and ICE ICE BABY (4) face tougher tests now but both come off wins at the course and they have upside.
