2020 HOTHAM HANDICAP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Hush Writer expected to set the tempo and he can make it a genuine test. Race revolves around ASHRUN (1) turning out quickly from the Geelong Cup as he looks to win his way into the field on Tuesday. He ran well at Geelong, outpaced off a steady tempo before staying on well late in the piece, and the prospect off a more genuine test this time around suits. Best form in Europe appeals.
SCHABAU (10) and SOUND (5) were both really good here in the Bart Cummings and that form has worked out well. Sound had no luck last week and should get back on track here. Not dismissing FUTURE SCORE (7) coming off the good Cranbourne Cup win and BRIMHAM ROCKS (2) continues to race well and can be around the mark.
