2020 MAYBE MAHAL STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Expecting this to be run at a decent tempo with a very competitive field of mares. CORDILLA (15) will have to improve again, coming up in class from a win at Cranbourne in fairly basic handicap, but she won it well there and has a rapidly improving profile. She will take beating.
LYRE (3) is a Group One winner, so she has the runs on the board, but she has made a real habit of finding bad luck in recent times and has gone a long while without a win now. This is well within range and looks her chance to break back through.
FABRIC (4) is flying and must be considered while the return of MUSIC BAY (5) behind WILD VIXEN (2) at Geelong was a cracker and that form can hold up. Think Music Bay has a terrific chance.
