2020 ECLIPSE STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Expecting a strong tempo with good early pressure but Homesman should find the front. WEST WIND (10) continues to spiral in the right direction. She was terrific winning at the Valley last time and the good rating there was given a nice boost when the runner up went on to win a competitive Group Two at Flemington last week. Think this suits ideally.
ALL TOO HUIYING (4) has come back in outstanding form and looks sure to run another big race. As does GOLD FIELDS (5) who chased him home at Seymour before just missing a good one at Flemington. He's kicking the door down to win one now.
HOMESMAN (1) is the class in the race but he was fairly flat at Flemington and needs to do more now. POWER SCHEME (12) won well at Flemington. This is tougher but he is going nicely.
