"I didn't have any concerns in the run. I knew I had the horse underneath me and we still got out to where it was definitely no disadvantage to where we were. The horse has done a really good job to keep bouncing back and I've had some really good success this prep and it's a big cheerio to the team, they've kept the horse flying and going through the grades.
Comparison to last run at Flemington: "He definitely took me to the line a bit more this time. I was left a little bit vulnerable last start at the 1100 (metre mark) but he toughed it out really well. Today I didn't really have to pull the stick until the last 150. He was always going to put them away comfortably. There was no need to win be any further than he did."
On Absolut Flirt on Tuesday: "The horse is in really good order. Looks like it's got the right race to win really well again. Fingers crossed it all works out."
