2021 TRISCAY STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Minimal pace. Tailleur good when leading. TAILLEUR (6) clearly the one to beat. Very much a mare on the up and contests this off a dominant Benchmark 88 win over 1100m at Rosehill. Has been allowed to gradually work through the grades and her first tilt at stakes success appears ideally timed. Well suited on the limit weight third run from a spell. For those not willing to dive into the odds on favourite, there are genuine value options.
MADAM ROUGE (1) resumes. Performs well fresh. Form through the spring was strong and culminated with victory in the Tristarc Stakes. Stablemate SUBPOENAED (4) will get back and be doing her best work late. Is a dual winner first up.
TRICKY GAL (5) resumes. Is unbeaten from three prior first up outings. Worked up to fillies and mares Group level at the end of last campaign. Consistent and also performs well on rain affected ground if forecast rain does arrive. REELEM IN RUBY (3) resumes off a generous spell. Fitness an obvious query however did win the 2019 Hot Danish Stakes.
