2021 GUY WALTER STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Sweet Deal looks to lead comfortably following the scratching of Greysful Glamour. ICEBATH (7) returned in good order when closing off well in the Triscay and is sure to appreciate the step up to 1400m. Sure to relish the conditions and Sherry knows here well. Small field plays into her hands and she should prove hard to hold out.
EMERALDS (6) was a very good run first up and like her kept fresh (28 days) off a soft trial. Likely to get back from the draw, but much like Icebath, she should be very strong late. TRICKY GAL (9) only went down narrowly first up and generally improves with racing. Not as well suited at the weights here, but still holds solid claims. SWEET DEAL (4) should get all the favours on-speed and has a class edge on her side.
