2021 AUSTRALIAN CUP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Plenty that can settle handy but coming across from out wide Homesman should be able to find the front. FIFTY STARS (3) won this race last year coming off a fast and high-rating run in the Blamey and he arrives this year on the back of just the same thing. Set to peak here on the back up, as he did in the Mackinnon, and think he holds a great chance of going back-to-back.
The Young Stakes was slowly run and that made it hard for ANGEL OF TRUTH (6) but his late work was terrific for the second time this prep and he looks on track to run a big race here. SHARED AMBITION (11) was unable to run down PARADEE (17) there but there wasn't much between them and a stronger tempo this time can see the tables turn. HOMESMAN (4) will be fitter for his run there and looks set to go well from the front.
