2021 TODMAN STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Keen tempo headed by the fleet-footed Profiteer. REMARQUE (7) steps up sharply in grade, if off a set-back and is 49 days between runs. A few obvious knocks, but seeing is believing as no two-year-old has trialled better this season. Very well-related, in the right stable and has drawn to get a lovely suck run. Hard to beat.
STAY INSIDE (5) is also unbeaten and the booking of McDonald is an obvious push. Wide draw likely sees him land outside the lead, but no reason to think he can't go on with the job from there. PROFITEER (1) destroyed them last start, though still not sure he beat much and the way he ran his race (fast early, slow late), he has to be some query stretching to 1200m. HOME AFFAIRS (4) won a weak Silver Slipper but can springboard getting on a firm track. Ripper race.
