Hot pace from Mazu booting up inside the speedy duo of Converge and The Bullring. INGRATIATING (2) clearly brings the best form having finished second in the Blue Diamond last start. Since kept fresh (21 days) and will look to follow the same path he did into the Diamond when backing up into the Slipper. Just has to hold his form and he'll win.
HILAL (6) didn't have the best of luck in the Skyline Stakes last start and is expected to improve again third up. Wide draw keeps him out of trouble and he should appreciate the strong tempo up front. TIGER OF MALAY (5) gets the blinkers on for the first time and can improve sharply, while HEAD OF STATE (7) appears the next in line following his maiden win last start.
