It is Derby Day at Ascot where we should see the same colours saluting for the champion connections.
It is a day of smallish fields so not a lot of value in play but we might take on one of the hot-pots with Platinum Bullet in the Marjorie Charleson Classic.
Don't really like what we saw with Clairvoyance and that was just last week on a back up. Happy to back the one that was flashing home and she wins it in another two bounds.
This mare by Shooting To Win has had a longish campaign but doesn't seem to be losing any zest for racing.
Another 100m here can only help and we're getting good odds to find out if she is good enough.
Earlier in the day in a juvenile feature, Ain't No Other Man can back up his first up effort and win again.
He sat just off the pace in that over 1100m and from a similar draw can position up near there.
This isn't a stellar group of rivals and he might just get first run into the straight over the main one of them.
