Winning Trainer: Cindy Alderson

"This horse just keeps surprising me. I saw that he was a bit keen today before the race and he was strong on the bridle. But to just keep going like that, that's a phenomenal effort.

"I was a little bit worried about him because he was strong on the bridle. I'd like to thank everyone in my staff who do an amazing job to get the horse here, but Daniel Schmitt, all of the riders, really. Jamie Keenan has done an amazing job on both horses (Reuber) this week and we couldn't do it without them. They both ran as well as the possibly could.

SA Derby: "That's obviously got to be thought about. Originally the plan was to be in the St Leger. I don't know how many runs he's got left in him because he's quite a lightly framed horse and it's his first preparation so will just have to have a think about that.

"Winners keep winning and he seems to be doing that. He's making his own luck and he's got a great set of lungs on him so he keeps on going.

"It is really exciting and I still think the best is yet to come. He reminds me very much of Sky Heights in his early three-year-old year. I'm not saying he's Sky Heights but he's that frame and when Sky Heights filled out he was a really strong stayer."

Winning Jockey: Jye McNeil

"Had a bit to do with him at his last couple now and he seems to have really relished since his last run. It wasn't the plan to go forward and lead today. I had to go to (plan) B & C a little bit but thankfully he was able to overcome that and to me thats the sign of a good horse, for sure.

"He was a little bit fierce in even his parade today. He really wanted to get on with the job so we may have to ask Cindy, kindly, if we can change a bit of gear and maybe something a little more fierce with his mouth we can have a little bit more control of him. But I think he's a very nice horse moving forward."
