2021 FERNHILL HANDICAP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
A good early pace established by both Converge and Maurice's Medad. CONVERGE (1) followed up on his solid run in the Pago Pago when finishing second in the Schweppervescence. Rates well off the back of that and should be even better at a mile. Leads for Clark and looks hard to beat.
MAURICE'S MEDAD (4) broke through for his maiden win against the older horses last start and while this is harder he is trending the right way and looms as a major threat. ALEGRON (2) closed off well at Mornington last start and gets his chance to settle closer this time around. Berry legs aboard and he has to be respected along with AKAHATA (6).
