2021 QUEENSLAND GUINEAS – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
PRIVATE EYE (4) heads north off a last-start eye-catcher in the G3 South Pacific in Sydney where he settled back but ran on for second. Should relish the step up to the mile and won his only previous third up attempt so is ready to peak and win. APACHE CHASE (1) led and kept kicking strongly to win the G3 Daybreak Lover in good style here a fortnight ago. Tries 1600m for the first time but all four career wins have come at this course. Must respect.
Forgive the first up effort of HOLYFIELD (2) when he travelled wide and carried a big weight. He is a dual G3 winner and is unbeaten second up so can do much better. ROLLINWITHTHEFLOW (6) steps up in grade but is a last-start Doomben winner building a good record. Could measure up. BUCHAREST (7) has been racing in G1 company so is better placed.
