Yet to win this prep but has been within 2 lengths of the winner in all five runs. Needs the step up in trip now. Big chance to break through.
LAURE ME IN (4) ran ninth last start beaten 3 lengths in the G3 Lord Mayor's Cup at Eagle Farm over 1800m. Barnstorming winner of the 1600m Scone Cup the run before. Form over 2000m in black-type races last prep was solid. Right in the mix. IN GOOD HEALTH (3) finished midfield last start at Eagle Farm over 1600m following a win at Listed level in Adelaide. Has a high cruising speed and if she doesn't get in a battle for the lead with Inverloch she can run boldly.
HUMBOLT CURRENT (7) has been freshened up since finishing second over 2400m at Gold Coast six weeks back. Honest stayer who must be respected with the in-form Williams taking the mount. FLASH AAH (6) is racing well and is an each-way hope.
