2021 CIVIC STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Good pace likely from True Detective and Bandersnatch. WANDABAA (5) continued her good run of form last start when narrowly beaten at Randwick behind Adelong. Now steps up to 1400m and while again likely to get back she can get home over the top of them. Day knows her well and this looks her race.
RANIER (1) got the dream run in front last start and proved too good on-speed at Eagle Farm. Unlikely to get similar favours here but is still expected to run well. BANDERSNATCH (3) should be right at his peak third up and a key switch with Avdulla going aboard. Major threat. THREEOOD (8) caught the eye late first up and has since trialled very well. Handles all conditions and has to be included.
