2021 WJ HEALY STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Away Game and Usmanov have good early speed and they will set a cracking tempo. With BALLER (1) now out then AWAY GAME (6) returned from a 15-week break last start and gave a great sight in front before finishing third over this course and distance in the Hinkler. Classy filly who is rarely far from the money. Winning chance if she can cross without burning too much fuel.
EXHILARATES (3) won impressively two back in Coughlan at this track and trip but struggled over 1300m in the G2 Dane Ripper last time. Blinkers removed and back to her pet trip. Watch for sharp improvement.
USMANOV (2) has gone to new heights at his last two outings, leading all the way to take out the Lightning over 1000m at this track last time out. The step up to 1200m is a concern but he is going too well to rule out. KING OF HASTINGS (8) improved last start and is ready to peak third-up.
