2021 UP AND COMING STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Only a moderate early tempo expected. TIGER OF MALAY (1) returns off only a short break having finished third in the JJ Atkins last start. Has residual fitness on his side and the booking of McDonald is an obvious push. Drawn to settle closer and should prove hard to beat.
CONCOCTED (9) won well on debut at Hawkesbury before not beaten far at Rosehill last start behind Silent Impact. On the improve and from the good draw he shapes as one of the main dangers. SUBTERRANEAN (2) wasn't far off the mark in better races last time in and with two trials under his belt he should be fairly forward with Bowman booked. COASTWATCH (7) can show good improvement second up and appears the next in line.
