Thoughts on the wide run in transit: "I wasn't worried about that (travelling wide). I was just happy to see a bit of fresh air in front of her. There's only one turn so unless there is a headwind you don't worry about that here."
Thoughts on winning first up: "It was a good win. She's come into it a little bit soft, we didn't trial her in the lead up so she is open to nice improvement which is pleasing. Thanks to Rick Jamieson up at Gilgai, she is a lovely filly and now a very valuable little girl with a Group win beside her name."
Future plans: "I haven't set anything for beyond today, the old adage one (run) at a time. She's not a big girl so I don't think she is going to be in for a busy spring. She doesn't strike me as a Guineas filly. The mile here I think that might just test her out at this point in time. I think we'll keep her at that five and a half, six furlong mark and pick our way carefully through them. There are no lofty targets at this point, we'll wait for her to mature a bit more."
Winning Jockey: Jamie Kah
Thoughts on travelling wide: "The race was going to plan out beautifully and then we got a bit of pressure from our inside. I was a bit wide in the end but she is a little filly so you don't really want to get muddled up inside them. I was not too fussed in the end when we were three wide because we had clean air."
General praise of Gimmie Par: "She gave me a really big kick. For a little horse she has a massive stride on her and a big motor."
On taking fitness from the run: "She's having a good blow so I think the spring is looking bright for her."
