Winning Trainer: Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young (Natalie interviewed)

On winning P.B Lawrence Stakes for connections: "Ozzie Kheir and Stuart Lewin and the team have been fantastic. I'm going to enjoy filling that up (P.B Lawrence Cup) later on that's for sure."

Potentially taking benefit from trip to Mildura: "I think that little trip to Mildura has really brought this filly (mare) on. We always thought she had another good preparation in her and she has shown it today. It was a fantastic ride by John (Allen)."

"After Flemington, she sort of peaked 50m out unfortunately paying $19. I thought there was plenty of improvement in her. I rang Ozzie and said, 'Get her on a float to Mildura, it is a $100,000 race. I think she has come through the race fantastic, just trust me on this'. She came out and won that and she's had a nice three weeks in between. We gave her a really quiet week after that and just ticked her over the last couple of weeks. She's come out today and she has really got that turn of foot back in her."

Future plans: "You can't win Group 1's unless you're in them. There is a Memsie in a couple of weeks."

"We'll have a talk to the owners and see how she pulls up obviously but I would love to see her back here in a couple of weeks."

Winning Jockey: John Allen

Thoughts on the win, in run: "It was a really good effort. They didn't go as quick as I thought they were going to. There was a lot of speed on paper but they didn't go very quick, it got a bit messy down the side so I just popped her out and let her flow into the race. She gets the 1400 and she's race fit unlike a lot of horses in the race so I wanted to make that count a bit. She trucked into the race good and she was really strong late."

Thoughts on making an early move: "They just really backed it up down the side and it was getting a little bit messy so I thought to give her the best chance we were better rolling forward a little bit and it worked out well."

On what Sierra Sue can do this spring: "Something like a Toorak with a mares allowance she would get in with a light weight. She is definitely really come into herself as a four-year-old mare so I am sure there will be bigger wins in store."

Shane Nichols on Streets Of Avalon: Zac (Spain) said when the horse came up and sat outside him, it got him over-racing and pulling terribly. We'll see how the horse recovers and see what the plan is going forward. He said when he was gone, he didn't knock him around and just let him flow to the line. We would have preferred him go better than that.
