2021 THE HEATH 1100 STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Strong early tempo with Oxley Road and Spaceboy pressing on. No doubt at all who the best horse is here. That honour belongs to MASKED CRUSADER (1) who won the Manikato last preparation and placed in the TJ Smith. Last seen running on strongly from too far back in the All Aged. That is the little query here. Does he slip them too much rope around here over the 1100m? Should be able to settle within range and must be marked down as the horse to beat.
VIRIDINE (5) draws well and finds a nice race for him after a couple of close up efforts. Can be a frustrating horse to follow but this is a nice chance for him. AMISH BOY (6) hasn't done a lot of winning but he has done nothing but race well in good company and he can be around the mark here. Would think OXLEY ROAD (4) will be fitter and hard to peg back on speed.
