2021 SHANNON STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Good tempo from the outset with a few go-forward types engaged. LOVE TAP (10) showed sharp improvement with the blinkers on for the first time last start when too strong on speed. Returned decent figures and while up sharply in grade he looks very well treated down in the weights and should prove hard to beat.
IMAGING (1) is the class runner and a key booking with McDonald aboard. Drawn to land in the coffin and looms as a major threat. DISCHARGED (8) should take up the running and is expected to show good improvement second up while last start winner CHAT (4) also holds claims despite up in the weights.
