2021 MIGHT AND POWER STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
No Effort and Homesman will likely make up the front pair at no more than an even gallop. No prizes for landing on ZAAKI (2). Toyed with them in the Underwood and the task looks similarly straightforward today. Just has to hold his form and he will go to the Cox Plate having won his last six.
PROBABEEL (5) did keep him honest in the Underwood and she might be better served by how this sets up. Yet to really prove herself at the trip but this may not be a true test at the journey and her Caulfield record is terrific. HOMESMAN (1) won the Australian Cup second up last campaign before going to Brisbane and being held by Zaaki twice. He was competitive with him at Eagle Farm and his return at the Valley said he was back as well as ever.
NONCONFORMIST (3) can only run well off a strong win at the course and distance but he surely comes up short against the big guns at this level.
