2021 MANIKATO STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Should see a strong tempo from the outset with Jonker, Savatoxl and Crystal Bound among those pressing forward. Haven't seen the best of JONKER (2) in two runs this spring but both have come with genuine excuses. Took off on a solo mission down the straight first up and pulled up with an issue before going to the Premiere at Randwick and finding trouble in running.
Should be positive with him here, gets an in-form jockey in the saddle, and his placings in the Galaxy and Kingsford Smith read well in a thin Group One. SAVATOXL (4) is the Goodwood winner and was back at least as well when winning the Schillaci.
Race rated higher than LOMBARDO (6) winning at listed level on the same card but he has been spacing his rivals in recent time and the win around here two back says he has a hope. INGRATIATING (11) ran a poor one last time but form prior makes him a genuine threat.
