Winning Trainer: Tracey Bartley

On cheering stablemate Barossa Rosa: "She looked home. I didn't know the colour on the inside. I didn't know it was him. It's incredible. I'm rapt in the staff and the work that has gone into these horses to have them spot-on for today is relentless and every trainer will tell you that. To have two horses run really well in the race is a credit to our staff, the riders, everyone."

On the lead up: "It was just eight weeks ago so it really wasn't a big plan. The next thing, we've got these two horses and they were picked up really early. They've been off the scene a little bit which was good. I know Barossa went ordinary the other day but this horse has had no luck bar first-up. I pleased for Jason he's actually got the split for him today and he's showed this is a very serious horse. He's a serious horse. The blinkers were a coup, a big coup."

On negotiations: "There's a long story. Joe Cleary is a guy I've got to thank. These horses came to me through Joe. Tony and his crew, the group of owners, the offers got ridiculous and I just handed it over to Tony. Tony said, 'Look, I'm here to race, I bred this horse, I've got the mother. We want to race and we want a good horse so good on them."

On the big win: "It's been a long time since I've had a good one like Sniper's (Bullet). You wait for another good horse to come along. I had mine when I was a young fellow and to get another really serious horse (is great). We work hard. Lots and lots of hours go into these horses, they just don't make it overnight. It's been a well-executed plan, both horses have run incredibly well. If she'd drawn an alley the mare, they probably wouldn't have beaten her, that's all that cost her the race."

Winning Jockey: Jason Collett

The improvement: "We learnt a bit about him from the last few starts. Things haven't been going our way, with slowly run races exposing a few of his weaknesses which are obviously his racing manners. He's not the most comfortable of horses."

Blinkers on: "That really helped today. I guess it just blocks out a lot of the other runners so there is a lot less for him to focus on."

The run: "He travelled beautifully. The tempo of the race helped and I got all the breaks."

Beaten Jockeys:

Jenny Duggan (Barossa Rosa): "Great run. Probably just the weight."

Lee Magorrian (Dalaalaat): "Just needs to be dropped back to 12/1300m."

Jim Byrne (Tampering): "Quite acceptable."

Hugh Bowman (Different Strokes): "Wasn't himself today."

Josh Parr (Grace Bay): "Needed a softer run to get the 1500m."

Kathy O'Hara (Highly Desired): "Nice run. Shame it wasn't wet for him. He probably nearly would have gone close."

Robbie Dolan (Rebel Rama): "Really good run. She is in for a good preparation over a bit further."

Nash Rawiller (Cream Rises): "He went super. Still learning his craft really."

Andrew Adkins (Too Good To Be Tru): "Ran OK. Didn't have a whole lot go his way."

Tim Clark (Daralina Belle): "She ran OK."

Alysha Collett (Conrad): "Hard run 1500 didn't really suit him today."

Tommy Berry (Kobestar): "Just had to go too far back from the gate."

Tyler Schiller (Dufresne): "He went enormous. Settled beautifully and when the splits came he accelerated really well."

Brock Ryan (Divine Breath): "Had a wide run today. It was a good effort to run third."

Jean Van Overmeire (Verbek): "Was a bit unlucky. Didn't enjoy being amongst them. Knocked around a bit but did OK."

Brodie Loy (Caesars Palace): "Good run. Needed a softer draw."

Jay Ford (Dom Tycoon): "From the wide gate made it very difficult."
