Owner Bob Peters has a strong hand chasing his 10th Perth Cup, leaning to PURE DEVOTION (14) who has been favourite in most of her recent runs and just failed in the ATA here last time out. Drawn nicely and will have her chance.
MIDNIGHT BLUE (12) has had a perfect build up and while a length behind Pure Devotion last time he's ready to peak. Respect. NEUFBOSC (3) won this race last year and is back to handicap level after a couple of even runs at WFA. Definite chance. STAFFORD'S LAD (15) and PLATOON (2) next best.
