Winning Trainer: James Cummings

On the campaign: "We tried to set her up very similarly to what we did two preparations ago here at Rosehill. She is one of the best-bred mares going around today and that's a huge result to get her first stakes win on the board."

"We were gradually improving her fitness and she had a really good base coming into today. She trained unbelievably during the week, we could have nearly got her up to a Galaxy. She's a beautiful sprinter. When she gets these sort of conditions it's right in her sweet spot."

Winning Jockey: Sam Clipperton

On the run: "She was faultless really. She traveled really well through the ground."

"The speed got injected there at the 700m and I just gave my mare clip up at the 600m and she just launched into the bridle and it was just a matter of counting to 10 and timing my run. She had a great turn of foot and was presented in brilliant order today."

On coming second in the Slipper: "It's a little bit bitter sweet but I couldn't have been more proud of my horse. I must say a big congratulations to Kacy Fogden and her team, she's just had that horse in magnificent order her whole preparation and he ran the race of his life today."

"It would've been nice to cross the line first but well done to Brenton Avdulla and I'm very proud of my horse.

On if Best Of Bordeaux will improve: "I think he will. As you saw, he's a little horse but he's just got amazing stamina. Provided that he spells well and comes back there's no reason he won't be a top-line three-year-old."

Beaten Jockeys:

James McDonald (Steinem): "Great run. Ready for a mile."

Tommy Berry (Marboosha): "Very good run. Winner was too good in the ground."

Andrew Gibbons (Seasons): "Wasn't comfortable in the going and probably not the best way to ride her."

Jason Collett (Ruby Tuesday): "Start proved costly. Happy with the run."

Tim Clark (Samoot): "She ran well."

William Pike (Mallory): "Don't think she likes the ground."

Rachel King (Geist): "Just not herself today."

Kathy O'Hara (Nicci's Fling): "Never got a shot at them in the straight. Got held up."

Regan Bayliss (Hasstobegood): "Yeah really good run."
