Speed should come from Massimo, Carocapo and Indian Pacific. Free Trade can be forward, Comfort Me has some speed as does Nerodio. ELITE STREET (2) was a popular first-up winner of the Northam Stakes and is fitter here. Nicely weighted under the conditions, drawn well and should take beating.
RED CAN MAN (4) was narrowly beaten at Northam and with the inside alley is a good chance of turning the tables. AMASENUS (16) has been dominant in two wins this time in and can take advantage of a good gate. Toughest test but could well be up to it. LAVERROD (5) and VALOUR ROAD (1) are next best in a strong race.
