2022 LORD MAYOR'S CUP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Despite the outside draw Bigboyroy can take it up in what looks to be a low-pressure contest. HUNGRY HEART (2) is a classy mare who has taken on weight for ages races in both runs since a spell and worked home well each time. Previous third up winner so will be close to peaking and Pike can secure her a good run from the low draw.
BIGBOYROY (7) hasn't been more than 3.5L off the winner this time in and chased well for second over a mile last start. Race fit now and won his only try at this longer trip. A win looks imminent. ZAYYDANI (4) won her only previous visit to Eagle Farm and is better placed after tackling weight for age last start. DJUKON (8) took a jump in trip last time but is proven at this shorter journey this may suit better. KOLDING (1) enjoys a big class drop. His best form wins this.
