Winning Trainer: Chris Munce

"From day one, when we ran her in the Jewel and her first start in a race, she race third to Rothfire and Kisukano. I've always really loved this filly.

"She's always had a touch of toughness about her. She's had a lot of injuries - been injury plagued throughout her career - but she's been a revelation here over the 1000 metres which is really surprising.

"She's just a good touch sprinting filly."

Her prep: "It was a good prep. It is just amazing how she's got used to this Eagle Farm. She loves racing here, the 1000 metres in particular. It is probably surprising how well she handles it."

Next: "Good question. A couple of the owners asked that before the race. I don't know. The Healy Stakes is there in two weeks. She's a stakes winner now so she is a valuable mare.

"Do we got to the Healy or go for a break, I'm not sure. We'll just let the dust settle today and I'll have a good look at her on Monday."

Winning Jockey: Samantha Collett

"It was fantastic. For me this is my first black type winner here so it is nice to tick that off. Full credit to Chris and his team.

"This mare has been ticking over really well since her win last start and she has been towing me through the bridle in her work and I'm a very small part of it but she has paraded well here.

"I got a really nice run and she was able to click off that hot speed and put them away.

"We had a little chat - Chris and I - when her and Centrefire were on similar paths and trying to split them up to do do the best thing for both mares and this mare, she's electric over that five furling trip and you saw that here today."

"On top of the ground, bit of cut in the track doesn't seem to worry her."
