THROUGH IRISH EYES (6) heads north with his hoof on the till after placing in his last three runs in Melbourne. Kept chasing over 2800m in the Andrew Ramsden at Flemington last start so expect him to run this distance right out. Goes on top.
SPLENDIFEROUS (2) hit the front a long way out in the G3 Premier's Cup here last start and dug deep to cling on. That was her third win from her last four runs so must be respected. IRISH SEQUEL (3) comes off a Listed win over 2400m in Sydney and has a win and a placing from two visits to this venue.
THE FEARLESS ONE (7) ran on and got close to Splendiferous last time so the longer journey should suit. SWEET THOMAS (4) missed by a nose in that same race last start and is a chance to atone.
