The last of the Winter WFA series is run at Belmont on Saturday as the Strickland Stakes is the highlight.

It isn't an easy race even if the betting suggest so and we could see more form turnarounds so we'll avoid that and go for a good sprint in the last where Bright Diamond can build on her resuming victory.

The 5yo in the famous pink and cerise sat on the speed over the short course and drew clear late two weeks back.

If anything you'd expect the added ground is a better option remembering she was beaten a nose in the Jungle Dawn in December.

Never missing a placing on this track, the daughter of I Am Invincible loves it second up, has a great weight after the claim and because of the depth here, we can get lovely odds.

Off an excellent run first up, hoping that hasn't flattened the mare but we're giving Chili Is Hot the other play in Race 7.

Having gotten all the way to a Bunbury Cup back in March, she was better back in grade but over the same course and distance.

Then after three months away, she resumed over a very unfavourable 1200m and whizzed home after being ridden back as you'd expect.

That was a decent race and the way she applied herself suggested a win is not far away before perhaps going back over more ground.

Just thinking we are getting fair each way odds here to find out.
