Winning Trainer: Mark Newnham (Stable representative Aaron Lau speaking)

"She really deserved that today. This time last year she came within a stride of winning a stakes race and it has been about getting her back to that form. We know she's good enough and needed that run first-up the other day.

"Brilliant move by Mark to put the blinkers back on and it was a good ride by Josh."

Parr's ride: "He put it together in a nice rhythm after the blinkers hadn't been on for a while. There was no point stopping and starting on a day like this and it was a beautiful ride."

Winning Jockey: Josh Parr

"It took me a hell of a long time to get to where I thought I had the edge on him (Shinn) but thankfully we were the stronger combo on the line."

What's notable about the performance: "Her courage late. She was in a fight for the length of the straight and she's been able to stick her head out on the line and win.

"She's been unlucky twice at bblack type level so it was very important for her today to win at this level. I'm thrilled to get the job done."
