Winning Trainer: Leon & Troy Corstens (Dom Sutton speaking)

The horse: "He's come back a more mature horse, he spelled a lot better this time, unlike last time where it took us three or four runs to get him where we wanted him last preparation. He came back and he was straight on his game. He jumped out really well and he was just too good today.

On training: "I thought he might have come back wanting a bit further but he's been really sharp in his work and just on his game and he got the job done.

Future prospects: "There's no specific targets really, it's just taking him through his grades. He's such an honest horse, wherever we put him he's going to be competitive and it's a good formula today being down in the weights and I think he's definitely got a few more in him.

Winning Jockey: Damien Thornton

The performance: "He felt good, he juped well enough and we were able to get into a really nice spot behind the speed. We got held up a touch in the early part of the straight then found a gap and he sprinted quite well, if anything we probably got there a touch soon but it worked out really well.

xxxxx: "He's obviously in for a good preparation the way he's won today, he's come back a little bit better. He's still a bit of hard work pre-race but if he can contain himself he's only going to get better and I think he'll be much better suited at seven furlongs as well
