Teagan Voorham was the star of the saddle for the Racing SA Apprentice Academy in the month of November.
Not only did Teagan Voorham ride 11 winners, but she claimed her first SA Country Cup success aboard the Grant Young-trained Neva Doubt Us in the Clare Cup before topping that less than a week later with her first black-type victory aboard Diamonds in the Listed City of Marion Stakes for Chris Bieg.
"When my manager rang and said I got the ride I said 'you beauty, we're on a nice horse and we're a big chance'", Voorham said.
Voorhan's City of Marion success the second leg of a riding double.
Alana Livesey celebrated her 50th career win aboard Bajan Belle at Gawler in November and was rewarded with her metropolitan riding ticket.
Livesey has enjoyed a big few months in the saddle with her city licence granted on the back of a lot of hard work and commitment to her craft.
"It's great reward for Alana and also Ryan Balfour Racing who have invested a lot of time and effort,'' Racing SA Jockey Coach Dean Pettit said.
"It's all based around her hard work and dedication,'' he said.
Port Lincoln proved a happy hunting ground with apprentices winning six of the nine races on November 2 before Ben Price and Alana Livesey both had riding trebles there on November 11.
Ellis Wong won the opening heat of the Montgomerie/Forrest Apprentice Series at Strathalbyn, while the academy had another debutante with Rochelle Milnes making her race riding debut at Gawler on November 30.
