Winning Trainer: James Cummings (Darren Beadman representing)

On the win and ride: "He won the Bert Lillye very impressively last start. He just went through his gears, it was a soft win."

"He's won a Gosford Guineas, he's been a very very honest and game horse for us and a lovely ride with a light weight with Rachel (King) on board. She kept it very simple, but she was strong at the finish."

Winning Jockey: Rachel King

On the run: "I was definitely happy to have that 53kg's on my back. The horse was super, he began well, put himself in a beautiful spot. Just traveled really well the whole way, I knew he still had that little more to give from the furlong home. He showed how tough and honest he is."

On the tempo: "I thought there would be a little bit more pressure earlier, thought I could've even been a pair further back. But it probably suited me from that nice gate, I was able to get a soft run and pounce late.

On getting a stakes winner for Godolphin: "It all worked out really perfectly, obviously the horse was produced in perfect condition today and he was able to get the job done. It's always an honour to put on these silks and even more of an honour to win a stakes race for them."

On if she was confident of getting the photo finish: "I was to a degree confident, but I didn't want to be too confident because normally when that happens it goes the other way. I was just very relieved to look at the board when I came back. I even didn't look for the first few strides just in case but was very happy to see my number up there."

Beaten Jockeys:

Ryan Maloney (Weona Smartone): "Nearly fell."

Regan Bayliss (Hard Empire): "Raced flat."

Brenton Avdulla (Athelric): "He ran well. He showed good speed and was left without cover. Just got found wanting."

Tim Clark (Dajraan): "Nice return. He will strip fitter and better suited when he gets over a bit further."

Reece Jones (Jojo Was A Man): "Good return from him. In for a good prep."

Tyler Schiller (Brutality): "He had run respectfully. Just needs a bit further."

Chad Schofield (Coal Crusher): "He ran very well. Just got caught late."

Tom Marquand (Waihaha Falls): "Got back in a race dominated from the front."

Dean Yendall (Flying Crazy): Provided no comment

Robbie Dolan (Shelby Sixtysix): "He ran well. Just wasn't beaten too far."

Zac Lloyd (Clemenceau): "Ran really well. He will get his time. He is thereabouts and will win a race soon."

Kerrin McEvoy (Kalino): "Nice run with no luck. We needed some room. He is going well."

James Innes (The Face): "I thought he was gallant in defeat second up. Wide barrier so had to do the work to get across. Not been beaten far. Thought he had a lot of merit to the run."

Jay Ford (Dalchini): "She is ticking over well. Once she gets out to seven she will be better again."
